Technical Phone Operator

One of our clients is seeking to recruit a Technical Phone Operator on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls, completing call logs and reports

Responding to customer’s emails

Assisting the after sales Executive in quotes

Dealing and follow up with customer enquiries  and solving complaints whilst offering other technical assistance

Identifying and escalating issues to the technical coordinator

Providing product and service information to customers

Researching, identifying, and resolving customer complaints using applicable resources

Ensure a smooth transition of the routing of calls

Upselling products and services

Taking care of on call roster and following up call agent reports

Helping maintain information to ensure service calls are completed and billed accurately

Maintaining and promoting a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances

Filing and scanning documents where required

Requirements:

1+ year of experience as a telephone operator, preferably in a call centre

Written and verbal proficiency in both Maltese and English 

Knowledge of customer service practices and principles

Excellent data entry and typing skills

Understanding of aftersales

Skills:

Meticulous with a keen eye for details

Multitask and time-management skills with a can-do attitude

Able to work on own initiative and also be a team player
